As a facilitator, you can create a pulse for any course you’re facilitating.

To create a pulse, click the pulse icon available in the top navigation panel throughout iQualify (next to your avatar).

Tip: If you can't see this icon it means you don't have pulses switched on in your iQualify environment. Your account owner can turn these on in the iQualify settings area of iQualify.

Check out the how to video or follow the step by step instructions below.

Select the course you wish to run the pulse for and give it a name. Pulses are reusable, so the name will allow you to find it again in future. The name won’t be visible to your learners.

You can run pulses at any time by selecting how long you’d like it to run for – minutes, hours or days. Once live, learners will be notified of the pulse and how long it will be available for. They can then go and answer it if they wish.

Note: Only learners who have been added to the course before the pulse goes live will be able to answer. If a learner is added after the pulse goes live they will be able to see all responses but won't be able to answer it themselves.

Responses are recorded and can be found under the overview section of the course. You can download these to see individual responses. Learners in the course can see all pulse responses in a graph without identifying how an individual learner responded.

Tip: As a facilitator, you can also download all Pulse responses from the Class area.
